Sir, This refers to your inauguration of ‘RTI Bhavan’, the newly constructed building of Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission in Gomtinagar, Lucknow on 11-07-2016 alongwith newly fitted fixtures, furniture, equipments, false ceilings etc., spread all across the corridors and hearing rooms, offices of the building. Only 4 months have elapsed and this new steel furniture have started rusting which clearly establishes that while making purchases of this furniture, quality was compromised with the shrewd intent to earn commission by corruption. Apart from corruption in purchases, the matter is of utmost seriousness as the rusted furniture is hazardous to the persons sitting on it. I am attaching 3 photographs of rusted furniture. A video of the same is available at given youtube link https://youtu.be/jnNLwusZEgc .  Similar is the case with other fixtures, furniture, equipments, false ceilings etc. Since you all inaugurated this building, there lies a moral responsibility on all of you to get this matter of corruption in purchases of new fixtures, furniture, equipments etc.  installed at ‘RTI Bhavan’ i.e. Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission thoroughly inquired by an independent agency. So I am requesting you all for a formal inquiry & subsequent punitive action alongwith recovery of public money from all the culprits. Hope a prompt & positive action.
